Clemeth's career in theatre design and acoustics is fueled by his passion to combine three principal interests: architecture, performance and science. His particular interest in combining experience in real world venues with a theoretical base leads him to creative design solutions rooted in reality. Clemeth's work spans disciplines ranging from auditorium design to analysis of structural vibration.

Currently a Senior Consultant for Charcoalblue in New York, Clemeth has twelve years' experience working in theatre including ten years as a consultant with Artec and later Arup serving as a project manager and designer for several of their major international performing arts venues. He has also served as a concert sound engineer, production manager, and stage hand in the central Illinois region for seven years with clients including the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and Technotrix.

Clemeth has attended concert, theater and opera performances by major performing arts groups at 41 venues in 14 states and 6 countries. He has worked with the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra during the opening concerts at their new home at the Musikkens Hus in Aalborg (Denmark), as well as l'Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal at La Maison Symphonique de Montreal (Canada), and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra at Harpa in Reykjavik (Iceland).

His qualifications include a Masters degree in Architectural Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (USA).
